Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth and treat occasionally (every three to four months) with an aniline cleaner. Avoid rubbing vigorously. Important: Avoid intensive exposure to sunlight, as it can lead to severe fading.
Cleaning:
Dust: Remove with a soft, dry cloth
Dry Dirt: Gently brush loose debris from surface. Follow up by lightly applying an aniline cleaner and treating leather surface according to its instructions. Dye transfer is possible.
Fluids: Promptly dry area by dabbing with an absorptive cloth. Do not rub. Follow up with dry dirt cleaning instructions, if necessary. Dye transfer is possible.
Foods and Fats: Follow dry dirt instructions. Should a grease spot still remain visible, do not attempt to further remove it. It will gradually absorb into the leather.
Liquids
Even beer, soft drinks, wine, orange juice, liquors, etc., are no problem because our leather is liquid repellent. Simply dab the liquid away immediately.
Difficult stains
Even difficult stains like wax crayons, lipstick, crayons, water-soluble ink and shoe polish can be removed per the cleaning instructions if treated immediately.
More Difficult Staining
More difficult stains like nail polish, lead pens, ball-point pens, etc., can be removed with a special cleaning agent under certain circumstances; however, the surface of the leather can become damaged with improper application. Please contact your local leather care specialist or authorized W.SCHILLIG retailer.
