This year – for the third time, the MTB Messeteam Bamberg and the Lions Club Bamberg Residenz organized the Fränkischer Tag – Company Challenge Franconia. It took place in the JAKO Arena on September 27, 2008.
Employees of W.Schillig participated again this year with multiple teams. The focus lies not on peak performances but rather on having fun doing sports as a group as well as making cross-company acquaintances and building business and private contacts. Honorary spokespersons for the challenge were once again Regional President and District Administrator Dr. Günther Denzler and Andreas Starke, Lord Mayor of Bamberg.
Teams of 5 persons each were invited to compete over different routes: either 5 km or 10 km running distance or alternatively the Nordic Walking parcours over 5 km distance.
