W. SCHILLIG: frames consist of kiln dried hardwood and top-grade ¾” plywood. Joints are corner blocked, double doweled, glued, and stapled. This dramatically increases frame stability and durability.
THEIRS: frames may be produced using softwood, particleboard or medium density fibreboard (MDF). Frames are stapled and glued.

2 - No-sag springs

W. SCHILLIG: Steel no-sag springs in the lower suspension create an active support system. Nylon clips and felt padding are used to minimize friction and noise.
